The Traditional
Classic navigation, which has stood the test of time, is positioned at the top of the website. It is arguably the most familiar layout. This choice includes 5 pages along with a contact form.

How it works
Pay a $99 retainer fee
The retainer fee signals your intention to work with us, places your request into our work queue, allows us to begin processing your request (compiling all required documents and links).
Acquire your option
After paying the retainer fee, we'll send you all the links and documents needed to start preparing for the website build.
Complete the content collection form.
Once you have completed the customization form, we'll send you form to collect the content and images needed to make your website (since you are choosing f from a selection of options, a strategy session is not required).
View and provide any revisions
After reviewing your website, you'll have the chance to make any necessary adjustments. If everything looks great, we'll set it up for launch.
FAQ
How long will payment plans be available?
Our payment plan inititative expires on Monday, March 2, 2026, but our service will continue.
What is the difference between this option and a typical HVD Studios website?
Our new "flex" websites option allows us to provide a scalable, modular website without compromising the quality of our work.
It's considered first-step which is ideal for business owners who are just starting out or those who have exhausted their DIY website capabilities and wish to get a more polished website.
We've removed the bespoke and UX steps which many of our clients demand and prefer. Our typical client requires designs that are often highly customized, contains UX design, and generally more expensive to wireframe/storyboard and execute.
Are there any additional fees?
Yes. We only charge for the website design, but customers are responsible for:
Monthly hosting: $25
Domain name: price varies
Some apps installed on clients sites may also incur a monthly or annual fee. We will notify you during a consultation.
Do you have payment plans besides Affirm and Klarna?
Unfortunately, we don't. You can make two payments: 50% down, and the balance due in 2 weeks via EFT (our standard plan). This gives a total of 30 days to pay the balance. If you are interested in this option, email us and we'll let you know what the next steps are.
I have my own domain name. Can you connect it for me?
In many cases, we can connect it at no additional charge. We will need the login credentials.
If there is additional work required, we will charge a $69 fee. If you anticipate that there will be an issue, please inform us immediately.
Can you purchase my domain name?
Yes, we can handle this for you. There is no additional fee for this option.
Can I add a store?
Our target audience for this specific service is start-ups with lean budgets. Adding E-commerce will substantially increase the price. We recommend that you visit our web design service to inquire about eCommerce.
A work-around:
If you are selling less than 10 items, inquire about the PayPal button add-on (see add-ons calculator) .
How long will it take to see my new website?
Under normal circumstances, the timeline for creating and launching your new website is as follows:
5 days: Business evaluation, collect content
5-10 days: Build
5 days: Iteration (revisions)
Total of 15- 20 days before your website can go live
How many revisions do I get?
You'll get one revision. Additional revisions are just $25.
